Richard “Dick” Fine
(June 6, 1940 – November 10, 2015)
Richard Howard Fine was an American physician who practiced primary care internal medicine, trained house staff, and administered programs and clinics as a Clinical Professor of Medicine on the full-time faculty of the University of California Medical Center’s San Francisco General Hospital campus.

My journey with Dick Fine was a wild ride, much of it on the back of a 1974 BMW R75 motorcycle. We shared a love for our twin daughters and San Francisco General Hospital. Everything was possible with Dick. With the people and principles that mattered to him, the only option was yes. He encircled life and me in a warm embrace.
